Taking on the world in cabinetmaking

Every two years our best young tradespeople line up to take on participants from 48 member countries in a competition called WorldSkills.

The Cabinetmaking category requires a high level of technical and mathematical skill.

In November 2007 the Australian representative in this area, Anthony Cassar, will travel to Japan to compete in the International competition.

In this video, we watch him competing against the New Zealand competitor, Chris Pye, in a mock competition.

If Anthony is successful in Japan he will be the first Australian to win a medal in this cateogroy.
